A blues/jam rock supergroup consisting of Cody and Luther Dickerson and Chris Chew , John Medeski, and Robert Randolph. Three days of jamming at MMW's Brooklyn studio in October 2000 yielded The Word, released in July of 2001. Given how busy each of the members subsequently became, they didn’t record a follow-up for 14 years. Soul Food was released by Vanguard in May of 2015.
